Meet Ross Obertean, PT, DPT, CDNS, a Physical Therapist, Certified Dry Needling Specialist, and Clinic Director at our Gig Harbor clinic. Ross earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in upstate New York, and has spent his career building deep expertise in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. As a Certified Dry Needling Specialist, he has elevated this technique to a cornerstone of his clinical practice, complementing his broader focus on manual techniques and functional medicine. His specialties include chronic pain management, TMJ dysfunction, and vestibular care — areas where his precise, hands-on approach and dry needling expertise consistently deliver meaningful results for his patients.

Beyond direct patient care, Ross has taken on clinic management responsibilities and served in physician liaison roles, cultivating strong working relationships with orthopedic, naturopath, and family medicine providers throughout the South Sound and Peninsula region. His ability to bridge clinical excellence with strategic clinic leadership makes him an invaluable asset to the ABC Physical Therapy team.

A proud transplant from Buffalo, NY, Ross made the Pacific Northwest his home in 2020. Outside the clinic, you'll find him rock climbing, spending time with his family, or carefully cataloging his latest LEGO build.
